Rachel Hylton denies she's dumped her mentor Dannii Minogue

X Factor judge Dannii Minogue insists she is still keen to mentor contestant Rachel Hylton. Rachel found herself in the bottom two after a public vote on the talent show this week and there were reports her relationship with Dannii was on the rocks. The ex-soap star and her protege, 26, were said to have clashed over Rachel's choice of songs and outfits. And Rachel did not take kindly to the news that Dannii had come out in support one of fellow judge Cheryl Cole's hopefuls, Laura White. Rachel said: "Dannii has never done anything to hurt me I would just say that I think there's times when it's not that we don't understand each other, I just think we don't get each other sometimes. But she added: "If Dannii, who's my mentor, is backing Laura, that's not a good thing then." Now the pair have released a statement insisting they're happy working together. Dannii is said to have agree to give Rachel more control over her styling and the two are planning a shopping trip.
