Zany Science Zeke, one of The Quirkles, KOLR 10, and Terri Johnson demonstrate a fun, holiday bubble concoction science experiment, and talk about polymers on the KOLR 10 morning news show. The Quirkles books are an educational series that offer a fresh new way to integrate literacy and science at school or at home. Each book is full of vocabulary builders, character education lessons, and two related science experiments that allow for hands on activities, helping to reinforce the topics that were just read. The series was created by teachers, and each story teaches/reinforces the phonetic sounds that serve as the building blocks for reading, while also making science—earth, physical, and life—fun to learn.
