Project Runway : Postal Uniform Challenge

At the beginning of the episode model Erin is out! Instead of another assignment, Heidi gives the five finalists each brown paper packages containing the key to their next challenge, which they are not allowed to open until the next morning. Before the sun is up, the designers discover that their packages contain U.S. Postal Service uniforms for them to wear for the day. At the Hoboken, N.J. Post Office branch, Tim unveils the challenge: redesign the letter carrier's uniform, after spending the morning on a route to understand exactly what is needed to make the uniforms more hip, while being functional. On their appointed rounds, they experience the woes of polyester pants and broken-down carts. Armed with their first-hand experience and $100, the designers hit the fabric store, finding everything blue and breathable in sight. When Jay learns his model will not be arriving, he finds the only other person that could possibly fit into the design he has created for a model' Austin of course! You're either in, or you're out, who was out this week? Robert is Out!
