Private companies profit from piracy - Dec 7 08

The European Union is taking action to ensure more ships evade the pirates menace. EU naval forces are launching an anti-piracy operation this week. 13 ships, including a huge Saudi oil tanker, and their crews are currently being held hostage in the notorious Gulf of Aden. Many shipowners are now turning to private security firms for protection. Al Jazeera's Jessica Baldwin reports.
