Pregnant women get swine flu jab

Pregnant women across the UK are now eligible for the swine flu vaccination. It is part of the national programme to protect the most vulnerable people against the H1N1 virus. Nearly five million doses of Pandemrix are available at GPs across the country. Two expectant mothers in the UK are already known to have died from the virus. Meanwhile, a new advertising campaign about how easily swine flu can spread has been launched. The campaign, under the slogan Catch It, Kill It, Bin It, features a father travelling home from work, sneezing and spreading germs. The television advert begins on Wednesday while posters for the new autumn campaign will be on tubes and buses from Thursday.
