Pope of Cantor Fitzgerald Favors UBS, Barclays Over RBS
Stephen Pope, chief global market strategist at Cantor Fitzgerald Europe, talks with Bloomberg's Francine Lacqua and Mark Barton in London about U.S., U.K. and European inflation, interest rates and the outlook for banking stocks including Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc. The U.K.'s second-biggest bank said today in a statement that first-half profit will be ``satisfactory,'' held back by credit-related writedowns and a slowdown at its securities unit.
