Police presser on officer killed in Norwalk, Conn.
(NECN: Norwalk, Conn.) - An 11-year veteran of the Norwalk, Connecticut police department was gunned down overnight while investigating a suspicious incident. Police say a manhunt continues for the suspect or suspects in the early morning shooting in a secluded parking lot in the South Norwalk section of the city. Officers responding to a request for backup found the officer dead. Weapons, including the officer's gun, were recovered from the scene. read more
