Police Prepare For Bowl, Holiday Weekend

Bowl games and the holiday have crowds celebrating downtown all weekend and police are on patrol. Between downtown and the citrus bowl there were more than 100 officers patrolling the area to monitor drivers and drinkers, WESH 2 News reported. Police said so far everything has gone smoothly after the Champs Sports Bowl and the holiday weekend. Fans flooded the stands with beer cans in hand. Police said they prepared for the Champs Sports Bowl for months. There were 70 officers inside and out of the Citrus Bowl to handle the 45,000 fans.
