Police: Clemmons wounded, still a fugitive in Washington

(NECN/ABC: Seattle, Washington) - A wounded gunman wanted for brutally murdering four police officers is on the loose in Washington state this noon. Police today thought they had Maurice Clemmons cornered, but he's still a fugitive at this hour. As the community reels from the vicious crime, police and civilians alike are stunned that the suspect was not behind bars. Police continue to search for suspect Maurice Clemmons who they believe is wounded or possibly dead. Earlier they thought he was inside a Seattle home and used tear gas and explosive devices to try to coax him out. read more
