RECAP: Nick and Alexa shared possibly the most romantic date ever! (: Hehe aww so romantic! Lol Nick got Alexa a beautiful necklace and they let a photographer take their picture. Nick said he had some good news and they were going to go to an ice cream place near Alexa's house so he could tell her. Hmm..should they really have trusted that photographer? What is Nick's good news? Find out now! (Alexa gave the limo driver directions to the ice cream place. It was a cute ice cream shop in a small shopping center in Alexa's town. [A.N. There's a picture of the inside of the ice cream place at the end of the slideshow and the ice cream is DELICIOUS! =D] They went inside and the bell on the door jingled and Mr. Bill, Alexa's old boss, walked out from the back of the shop.) Mr. Bill: Hello Alexa. Is this..is this that Nick Jonas guy from the Jonas Brothers? My granddaughter is in love with that band. Alexa: Um..(Feeling a little uncomfortable and leans in and whispers to Nick) Should I say yes? Nick: (Whispers back) I guess..everyone already knows about it anyway. What's he gonna do? Call the press? If he does, we can just hop in the limo and hurry out of here. I have my cell phone with me. Alexa: (Whispers back) Okay. (Talks in normal voice) Yeah it is.. Mr. Bill: I thought so. I've seen his face everywhere. (Nick smiles politely and looks at the walls nervously) Mr. Bill: Now..what can I get you two? Nick: Um..(Looks at the ice cream flavors) I've never been here before. Alexa: Hmm..hold on a second. (Talking to Mr. Bill) What would you recommend for diabetics? Mr. Bill: Well we have sugar-free ice cream. Alexa: (Turns to Nick) Nick: Hmm..I guess that's fine. I checked my blood sugar right before I came here so I think I should be fine until I get back to the room. Mr. Bill: Alright. Which flavor would you like? Nick: Uh..(Looks inside freezer) Chocolate please. Mr. Bill: Okay so that's..one small scoop of sugar-free chocolate and..for you dear? Alexa: (Thinks for a minute) Um...I'll have regular chocolate ice cream. Just one scoop please. Mr. Bill: (Gets the ice cream) That's $7.35. (Puts the ice cream on top of counter) Nick: (Takes out a ten and hands it to Mr. Bill) Mr. Bill: (Hands him his change) There you are, sir. Nick: Thank you. (Takes the ice cream and takes it to a seat for two near the window) (They sit down and start to eat their ice cream) Nick: This place is very.. Alexa: Cute? Nick: Yeah it is. It also looks like it's been around for a while. (Looks at the records on the wall) Look at all these old records. Are these real? Alexa: Uh huh. (Takes a bite of ice cream) Nick: Is it ALL real? Alexa: (Giggles) Yes it is. Wow someone's a little fascinated. Maybe the ice cream wasn't a good idea for you. (Laughs) Nick: Ha ha. Very funny. (Smiles) Alexa: So..you said you had some good news. Nick: (Folds hands on the table) I do. (Peeks over her head and makes sure Mr. Bill is in the back) Okay..so..I was thinking..we need a break. Alexa: (Almost chokes on ice cream) What?! How is THAT good news? Nick: Oh, no no no! Not that kind of break! (Laughs nervously) I'm never going there again. Alexa: (Puts hand on heart and sighs in relief) Please continue. Just..don't word it like that. Nick: Okay. I'm sorry I really didn't mean to make it sound like I was gonna- Alexa: I know. (Smiles reassuringly) Please continue. Nick: Well..(Takes a deep breath) What I meant to say was that we need a vacation. All of us. It's been pretty..crazy lately and not just for you and me. Everyone seems to be stressed out and I think it'd be a good idea if we kinda..(Tries to find the right words) stepped back and forget about our problems with the press and everything for a week. Alexa: Okay..I sorta see where you're going with this but I'm kinda confused. Nick: (Sighs and smiles) Alexa..we're all going to the Bahamas! Alexa: (Excited and shocked) We are?! Really?! Nick: (Nods) Alexa: When? Nick: The day after tomorrow. And Joe and Kevin already talked to Hope and Jade. Alexa: They're going too? Nick: Yep. All of us. Me, you, Joe, Kevin, Frankie, Big Rob, my parents, your mom, Jade and Hope. Alexa: This is awesome Nick! Thank you so much! (Smiles) Nick: You're welcome. Are you finished? Alexa: Yeah. I can't eat anymore. I'm stuffed. Besides, I wanna get home to tell my mom. Let's go! (Jumps up and grabs his hand and they run out to the limo) (They drove home, Nick and Alexa discussing the vacation. They were going to stay at the Atlantis resort on Paradise Island, a place where Alexa always wanted to go. This had to be the best night of their lives..) End of chapter 12. What did you think?
