PKK Ties to Ergenekon
The Ergenekon investigation has caused a deep crack within the PKK. In a clash between two seperate factions of the group, two PKK terrorists were shot to death by fellow PKK members in a dispute over Ergenekon. Some say the investigation is accelerating the break up of the terroist group. // With the onset of the Ergenekon investigation some relations became apparent, which caused a deep crack in the PKK. In the headline of the newsweekly Aksiyon "the Ergenekon Investigation spread to the Qandil Mountain" it is reported that within the terror organization, PKK, the crack deepens such that terrorist started to blame each other saying "agent", "pro-Ergenekon". According to Turkish intelligence units, the Ergenekon fighting which started in the teror camps in the north of Iraq ended up with the murder of 2 terrorists. A group which call themselves "Ankara-rian" killed two terrorists with the codenames "Chekdar" and "Avenda" who criticized the Ankara-rians for being pro Ergenekon. The execution order is reported to be given by Jemil Bayik. The Ankara-rians are known to be the contacts of the Ergenekon within the PKK. Ankara-rians are claimed to conduct violence on "Moderates" or "Neutrals". Meanwhile the "Neutrals" are said to take refuge in Northern Iraq at first opportunity. The Ergenekon indictment not only disturbs those in the Qandil Mountains but also the pro-Kurdish DTP party. DTP blames the government with grooming the "deep state" through the indictment of the Ergenekon. The head of the PKK Abdullah Ocalan spoke the same way as DTP Deputy Leader, Emine Ayna who claimed the Ergenekon investigation was a method for the deep state to tidy itself up. What lies behind the fears of the PKK or DTP is their relations between the Ergenekon, which have been proved with documentation in the indictment. For this reason, three PKK terrorist who have been in jail were interrogated by the prosecutors to disclose the relationship between the PKK and the Ergenekon.
