Peter Morgan Says U.S. Growth Will Provide 'Tailwind' for Japan
Peter Morgan, chief Asia-Pacific economist at HSBC Holdings Plc, talks with Bloomberg's Catherine Yang in Hong Kong about Japan's fourth-quarter gross domestic product reported today and the outlook for Bank of Japan monetary policy. Gross domestic product in the world's second-largest economy expanded at an annual 4.8 percent pace in the three months ended Dec. 31, after consumer spending rebounded from the biggest drop in a decade and business investment jumped.
