Random Wi-Fi Doubles match @ Crystal Colosseum. "Sunlight in the Cave" Merry Christmas! This is a Christmas Day upload, #1 of 2. The 2nd video will be uploaded later in the day. Well, when I saw my opponent's pass, I knew I was in for a tough battle; the pass has either Fire-type Pokémon or Pokémon that can learn Fire-type moves. Crobat wasted no time and set up Sunny Day, which was probably going to be the nail on the coffin so to speak. I made a bad switch when I took out Glalie for Empoleon; Lucario used Blaze Kick and it was a Critical hit. Hoping my opponent would attack Empoleon again, I switched in Rapidash, and sure enough, Rapidash got the Flash Fire boost, and took out Lucario. Unfortunately for Abomasnow, it couldn't do much here other than Protect. Heatran kept trying to use Magma Storm on it, and eventually, it hit. I've never seen that move before on PBR, and to be honest, I'd rather stick to either Fire Blast or Flamethrower for Heatran, with Overheat, Heat Wave, and Lava Plume having some advantages as well. If you're wondering what the announcer says, he exclaims, "Incinerated by Magma Storm!" Eventually, I was left with just Empoleon and Glalie, while my opponent had their Crobat and Heatran left, and the sun was out as well. I took a huge risk and used Earthquake on Glalie; luckily, my opponent chose to use Brave Bird, from which Crobat fainted from the recoil. That Earthquake easily OHKO'd Heatran, but also took out Empoleon as well. It was indeed a risky move, but one that won me the match. I used: Abomasnow (Wampa), Glalie (Frostbite), Rapidash (Pegasus), and Empoleon (Oceanus). The opponent used: Lucario, Crobat, Houndoom, and Heatran.
