Today Sprint finalized what we'd all been guessing: A first-week-in-June launch to its new smartphone. With all the details falling into place, what's our final take before the phone hits store shelves? We talk to Stuart Miles from Pocket-Lint and David Chartier, who contributes to many different outlets including MacWorld. Stuart isn't quite sold on the phone, though he does think the QWERTY keys make it all the more appealing for would-be BlackBerry switchers not content with the lackluster typing performance of the BlackBerry Storm. David, on the other hand, thinks Palm might have what it takes if the OS is as solid as promised. Like any non-fanboy, David's waiting to get his grubby little mitts on the device before he parts with $300 before the mail in rebate, and the $70 per month service plan. What about you? Are you going to give the Pre a shot, or are you going to stick to your iPhone / BlackBerry / T-Mobile G1 / other, less awesome phone?
