At least 30 people are now thought to have been killed in a twin suicide bomb attack in Pakistan. The attacks, in the garrison town of Rawalpindi, targeted a bus full of government defence workers, and an army checkpoint. The attack has heightened fears of political turmoil ahead of planned elections in January.
