Friends and family of Mirza Hussain, a British national due to be hanged on Sunday or soon afterwards after being convicted ten years ago of the murder of a taxi driver by a Shariah court, are protesting outside Oxford University Union where Pakistan President, General Pervez Musharraf, has been speaking. Mirza Hussain has previously been cleared by a secular court - and his brother Amjad wants the Pakistani President to prove his progressive credentials by stopping the execution.
