Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has said he wants to end central rule in the Punjab province and support the opposition's return to power there. The political deal may yet pave the way for a long-term reconciliation with Zardari's bitter rival Nawaz Sharif. But the embattled president is also under pressure from Washington over the country's spy agency which it accuses of helping the Taliban. Al Jazeera's Nicole Johnston reports.
