One-year-old boy killed in Manchester fire

(NECN: Manchester, NH) - A 13-month-old boy has died in Manchester, New Hampshire, in a house fire. The Wednesday night blaze was too intense at first for firefighters to attempt a rescue. The baby was pronounced dead at a hospital after firefighters got inside and brought him out in a white towel. Neighbors describe a very loud and chaotic scene. The young victim's mother was also taken to the hospital for treatment. There is no word on her condition or what caused the fire.
