The Royal Bank of Scotland is more "oil" than "royal". Promoting itself as "The Oil & Gas Bank", RBS is providing the financial fuel that drives climate chaos & fossil fuel addiction. We can change this. The bank needs students -- as new customers who stay for life and as future employees. RBS spends millions targeting students, and reports proudly on its successes to its shareholders. We have the power to interrupt RBS' oily love affair. When students & unions choose not to bank with RBS and the bank feels unwelcome at recruitment events & freshers fairs, it will have to choose between locking enormous carbon emissions into our future, or laying the way for renewable energy.
