President Barack Obama satisfied his fast food craving with a trip to a Washington burger bar. With a peckish Vice-President Joe Biden in tow, the pair made a brief trip to Ray's Hell Burger in Arlington. Despite their VIP status, both men stood in line for their slab of meat in a bun after foregoing their scheduled lunch arrangements in the Oval Office. Mr Obama opted for a cheddar cheese burger - medium with spicy mustard. His right-hand man went for a similarly classic US dish. The US leader even offered to feed the gathered journalists, saying: "Who's taking orders here? My treat to the pool. Who wants a burger?" Surprised staff appeared reluctant to take money for the order, but Mr Obama insisted, saying: "We're paying, or these people are gonna write about how we're free-loading," referring to the onlooking media. After leaving a tip of five bucks, Mr Obama and Mr Biden sat down at a table and had their lunch. They emerged from the burger bar shortly after 1pm, seemingly satisfied with their feed. By 1.15pm they were back in the White House.
