A nursery worker who sexually abused children and sent the pictures to another paedophile told police she knew what she did was "vile" and "disgusting". Tapes of Vanessa George, 39, being interviewed by police also reveal her suggesting that marriage to Colin Blanchard, also 39, was a motive for her actions. George, who worked at Little Ted's Nursery, in Plymouth, Devon, also suggested her continued complicity was partly to keep his attention. But George, whose husband Andrew took an overdose after her crimes were revealed, refused to name or identify any of her child victims. On the tapes, George claims Blanchard, from Rochdale, urged her to take indecent images after they met via Facebook. The pair and a third member of the ring, Angela Allen, 39, from Nottingham, will be sentenced at Bristol Crown Court next month on 37 child sex abuse charges. Hampshire police have also arrested another woman: 39 year old Tracy Lyons, from the Portsmouth area has been charged with three child sex offences.
