North-west Flow Snow - 6/7 APRIL 2009

An early spring low tracks into the New England area with a trailing cold front. Severe weather occured with this system hours before while wintry conditions took over the mountains of NC in the form of snow after frontal passage. Strong NW wind brought freezing temperatures and enough moisture to spark the issuance of Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories.
