Nomar: "Appreciated every moment"

(NECN) - Nomar Garciaparra returned to Fenway Park Monday night. And Red Sox nation welcomed him giving Garciaparra a minute long ovation. Then the former Sox shortstop helped the Oakland Athletics beat John Smoltz. Garciaparra had two hits, including an RBI single as the A's beat Boston 6-0. Nomar says he'd still like to end his career in a Red Sox uniform. After the game he spoke with NECN about how much the fans in Boston meant to him.
