CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - The district court and 10 homes had to be evacuated in Concord, N.H., after construction workers struck a gas line. Fire officials said the line apparently was hit Tuesday afternoon by a machine being used in a repaving project. Someone smelled gas, leading to the evacuation of 40 workers and visitors from the courthouse. Officials expected nearby streets to be closed for several hours.
