Mr. Viet Dung Nguyen, M.Sc, is a specialist in natural resources management and environmental educational and training. Currently, he is Vice Director of Program Development for Pan Nature in Vietnam, where included among his program development duties is field research and assessment on the environmental social impacts of small and medium hydropower projects in Vietnam, community based water resources management, capacity for agricultural and forestry products for pro-poor in Hang-Kia -- Pa Co Nature Reserve. Mr. Nguyen is also a National Consultant for Vietnam's Environmental Protection Agency. There he is undertaking a needs assessment for raising awareness on invasive alien species in Vietnam, and has completed an assessment of ten years of implementation of the Convention of Biological Diversity and Biodiversity Action Plan in Vietnam. He has also reviewed implementation tools for wetland conservation and sustainable design in Vietnam. Mr. Nguyen holds a M.Sc. in Human Ecology.
