New hope for MDS patients

An encouraging new treatment is available for patients suffering from a malignant blood disease called Myelodysplastic Syndromes. As we hear from Steve Gendel, the MDS foundation, which represents patients suffering from this condition, is pointing to just-published data in the journal Lancet Oncology that says the drug Vidaza extends survival:
