Finding an entertaining way to celebrate 25 years of the annual Dutch Film Festival on Wednesday (September 28), Dutch Railways have decided to put in an extra service for passengers: a carriage which has been converted into a big screen cinema. Anyone with a valid train ticket can join the "AutumnCinema". The movies are selected from Dutch Film Festival. Among the films, are new releases such as the Netherlands box office succees 'The Schnitzel Paradise', which is competing for Holland's Best Movie Award, the Golden Cow. For the most part though, the train's cinema will be playing short films, so those who're only aboard for a quick trip can enjoy a movie from beginning to end. "It's promoting to travel with the train," said one passenger/movie goer Ine Vonken. However, passengers who want to catch the movies will have to be quick; this is not a new long term service, but a special event which will be in service over the five days of the Film Festival. "This is just specially for Dutch Film Festival and for the Autumn," said Carola Belderbos, a spokeswoman for Dutch railways. "We give people a possibilty to enjoy the movie during their trip, but only for five days."
