
(NECN/WTNH: New Haven, CT) - For hours Friday, plant after plant was pulled from a New Haven Connecticut home. In all, nearly 300 marijuana plants were seized by drug agents. The estimated street value by police, $2.4 million worth of pot. Police are calling this a hard core drug lab. The Chapel Street home was rigged with glow lights, irrigation systems and even misters on timers. Crews stumbled onto the drugs while responding to an electrical fire call. Police have two people in custody and more arrests are expected.
