Nash sets sights on the US

Kate Nash is reportedly following in the footsteps of Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen by having a crack at the US music market.The singing sensation will release the Foundations EP, while her debut album Made of Bricks will be released in early 2008.She'll also be playing two gigs in New York in October.The 20-year-old first shot to fame after her single Foundations entered the singles chart at number two.But her album Made of Bricks went straight to number one in the album charts.Kate's next UK single is expected to be Mouthwash, which she describes as "a bit of a protest song that comes from the confusion of youth".© Independent Television News Limited 2007.
