(Global Pulse: August 7, 2009) If North Korea wanted star power, they found it in Bill Clinton. The official U.S. line is he went to Pyongyang to secure the release of two American journalists. The meeting between the elusive Kim Jong Il and the charismatic Clinton was analyzed and covered almost as much as the freed journalists themselves. Was it a PR coup for Kim, or a thawing of the ice between the U.S. and the D.P.R.K.?
