
(NECN: Tom Langford, Weymouth, Mass.) - Hundreds of mourners gathered in Weymouth, Massachusetts Saturday to pay their respects to a fallen police officer. Officer Michael Davey was struck and killed Monday while working a construction detail. Mourners filled Saint Francis Xavier Church in Weymouth as Officer Davey was laid to rest. The 34-year-old father of three died Monday, killed when he was hit by a pick up truck as he worked a traffic detail. Police said 79-year-old Ronald Gale caused the accident when he ran a stop sign. read more
