Talks continue in Zimbabwe in hopes of salvaging a power-sharing deal between the country's main political parties. The framework agreement calls for longtime President Robert Mugabe to share power with the main opposition party, The Movement for Democratic Change and its leader Morgan Tsvangirai. So far, talks to establish a unity government have stalled. Negotiators are meeting this week with former South African President Thabo Mbeki to try and reach an agreement.
