Monks clash in Cambodia

Two rival groups of Buddhist monks have traded blows at a demonstration in Cambodia.Around 50 monks were staging a protest march calling for greater freedom when they clashed.Buddhist Monks are normally known for being peaceful and love of their fellow man.But clearly that was all forgotten as they fought like a crowd of football hooligans. One monk, Lim Yuth, suffered a cut to his left eyebrow during the brawl and he was left with blood running down his face.He said: "We are demanding that the Vietnamese government allows recently defrocked monks to return to the monkhood."© Independent Television News Limited 2007.
