An inquest jury ruled today that a toddler who choked to death at her nursery was unlawfully killed. Sixteen month old Molly Cunliffe tangled herself up on the drawstring of a bag that had been tied to the bars of her travel-cot at the Tiddlywinks nursery in Gloucester. She died two weeks later at Bristol Children's Hospital after her parents decided her ventilator should be switched off. Staff at the nursery admitted being guilty of bad practice but the police and CPS said no charges would be brought against them. Molly's family however are preparing a civil action.
