In this video I point out the various geographic features in and around Browns Ranch, San Bernardino County, California. Browns Ranch is located in Almond Cove in the Cuddeback Lake basin (sec 5, T30S, R42E, Mount Diablo meridian and baseline) in far western San Bernardino County in the Mojave Desert. Not included in this video is any footage of my ten mile hike to Golden Valley, an isolated intermontane basin located to the north of the Browns Ranch site in the Golden Valley Wilderness Area. The memory card on my camera filled up quickly with the landscape shots comprising the bulk of the images included here, precluding its further use for the day. The audio wind problem evident in the soundtrack to this video is very frustrating. Suggestions to help me remedy this in future productions are welcome. Correction to the onscreen text: The date of this trip was not 3 and 4 May 2007, it was 2 and 3 May 2007. TECHNICAL: Equipment | video function on a Canon PowerShot A630 mounted on a tripod. Editing | Windows Movie Maker.
