Mixed Unity Peace Walk- Saturday August 22nd, 2009

Mixed Unity, the youth lead coalition which organized the STOP THE VIOLENCE CONCERT in down town silver spring, recently held its first annual PEACE WALK in dedication to Tai Lam. Participants marched from The Eastern Carryout, close to where the shooting took place, though Downtown Silver Spring, and to the Pyramid Atlantic building where special guests spoke about violence prevention and the importance of this movement.
