Michelle Obama Impresses Voters

Friends Melinda Phillips and Marilyn Ashley decided to go see Michelle Obama speak on Sunday night in Plymouth, N.H., even though they leaned toward another Democratic candidate. Phillips had already said she would volunteer for Sen. Hillary Clinton on primary day. And Ashley had favored John Edwards. But that all changed after they saw Mrs. Obama give a 40-minute speech that focused on education and her husband's background and experience.
