Merkel Pressures Greece on Austerity to Unlock Aid

Feb. 7 (Bloomberg) -- Greek Prime Minister Lucas Papademos plans today to discuss with the nation's political leaders the implementation of additional fiscal measures needed to secure a second European Union-led bailout. German Chancellor Angela Merkel said in a joint interview last night with French President Nicolas Sarkozy that Greek aid hinges on the government adhering to the terms set down by international creditors.
