Mel B to sue Eddie Murphy

Former Spice Girl Mel B has said she is suing Eddie Murphy over the paternity of her baby daughter.The singer, who recently gave birth to Angel Iris, has consistently argued that the Hollywood funnyman is the father of her second child.She said: "I want him to be a responsible parent but he's not doing a DNA test and he's not signing the birth certificate. So it's going to court so he can be forced to do it."He hasn't seen his daughter. My people have contacted his people and they had no response."Mel is so sure that Eddie is her daughter's father that she has already put his name on the birth certificate.Eddie has continually denied that he is the baby girl's dad.The singer already has an eight-year-old daughter from her former marriage with dancer Jimmy Gulzar.© Independent Television News Limited 2007.
