MEDIA: The Big Donor programme criticised

The makers of The Big Donor have been defending their programme in which a terminally ill woman chooses which of three contestants with kidney problems will receive her kidneys. The Dutch broadcaster BNN plans to air the show on Friday. The programme has been widely condemned; its producers say they're using shock tactics to draw attention to an important issue.
