MEDIA: GMTV and ITV phone-in scandal: possible criminal prosecution

GMTV could face a possible criminal prosecution after the Serious Fraud Office asked Ofcom to hand over documents relating to the company's phone in scandal. It follows Ofcom's two million pound fine against the breakfast broadcasters for charging millions of viewers to enter competitions with no chance of winning. And police are also considering whether to look into the latest scandal at ITV.
