Me On KIRO TV 7

I went to the A.N.S.W.E.R. Rally in Seattle WA I got on TV even. They did 2 segment on the rally, I was in both. The first had a better Quote but I didn't tape it :( I'll check the 11 o'clock report On the same subject I went to a similar rally on march 18, 2006 same place, same stuff. I found a video of one of the speakers who had made mention of my presence... So I will post here what I wrote that day along with a link to Mike Hastie's video from the March rally. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VcPTag6AteU Writen march 20th 2006 I was at the March 18th rally to stand against A.N.S.W.E.R. and the little spin-offs that like to yell about the evils of America... I heard the same old lines about me being a hypocrite and why I wasn't in Iraq (no explanation as to why the "Freedom Socialist" party isn't hypocritical). I would like to share three things that happened. The first came shortly after my arrival when one man began the same old go to Iraq and fight for bushie...ect.ect.ect He began name-calling and cursing getting into my face...ect.ect.ect. None of this is unexpected, however after about an hour he came back and apologized, he was nice about it and everything... then for no reason and with no warning he went right back to his name calling and cursing fit, even got right in my face. I think he was just trying to get my guard down before he jumped back at me... I wasn't fooled.... Next was the absolute truth about how they feel about our troops. So Often I heard "we support our troops too we just want them home" ect.ect.ect. But while I was standing there, 4 or 5 time, our troops came to thank me for being there. I thanked them for their service. One time when one soldier was talking to me a war protester came up and got in his face calling him a torturer, killer ect.ect.ect. And lastly on the march around downtown among many anti-American /capitalism chant was this one "Hey Hey Bush and Chaney how many kids did you kill today" this is the same one they chanted 3 years ago at the start of the war with just one change "hey hey USA how many kids did you kill today" I think they made the change because they were afraid of the blogers, but it means the same because it is our troops that they are accusing of "killing babies" sound familiar?? Btw if you can, PBS did a special on Patty Hearst and the SLA, some of the things said then sound familiar. If you get a chance, check it out. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/amex/guerrilla/ I was on the outskirts of the rally and couldn't here everything but I did hear one speaker saying that civilians were legitimate targets for terrorist because the governments would not respond to anything else, I think he was talking about Israel. These are the same guys who get mad if a terrorist is killed while shooting at our guys from a cemetery. At other rallies I heard call of revolution (real not figurative). And I lost count on how many times I got called a christen fascist.
