McNerney Says CEOs See Business Confidence Worsening

James McNerney, chief executive officer of Boeing Co., and Caterpillar Inc. Chief Executive Officer Jim Owens speak about in Kiwah Island, South Carolina, about the results of the Business Council's survey of chief executive officers. More than 90 percent of the executives said confidence in the business environment had worsened, compared with about 87 percent six months ago.
