Matus of Lehman Says Jobless Claims May Indicate Layoffs: Video
Drew Matus, a senior economist at Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc., talks with Bloomberg's Betty Liu from New York about U.S. initial jobless claims data released today, and the outlook for the U.S. economy and labor market. The number of Americans filing first-time claims for unemployment benefits fell by 22,000, less than forecast, to 356,000 in the week ended Feb. 2, the Labor Department said. (Source: Bloomberg)
