Manson Red Apple Market Awards to Manson Students By Heidi Neal www.GoLakeChelan.com Jack and Gale Courtney owners of the Manson Red Apple Market sponsored an Easter Coloring Contest for the elementary students from Manson Elementary grades K- 4. On Saturday, March 29th the winners gathered in the store’s coffee bar for their prize presentation. Each winner was presented a prize box filled with 4 frozen pizzas, 5 boxes of frozen ice cream bars and a dozen Hostess Snacks. Plus each winner was awarded a $50.00 donation to go to their choice of local charities, either the Habitat of Humanity or the Chelan Food Bank. Leroy Hill, representing the Lake Chelan Habitat of Humanity was on hand to except a $150.00 donation from the student winners. A donation for $150.00 will also be sent to the Chelan Food Bank. These talented winners now will have loads of goodies to enjoy on their spring vacation. The winners were: Grade K: 1st - Bryce LaMar Grade K: 2nd - Angel Cervantes 1st Grade: 1st - Esmeralda Villa Magana 1st Grade: 2nd -Travis Walker 3rd & 4th Grade: 1st: Noemi Sandoval 3rd & 4th Grade: 2nd: Gustavo Villa Turn in your grocery receipts and then The Manson Red Apple Market donates 1 % of your purchase to the Lake Chelan Habitat of Humanity Building Fund.
