Manchu history - 6. Mandarin

Mandarin was language spoken only in Manchuria. China distorted history as if Manchus were sinocized. Conqueror Manchus didn't learn any language spoken in China. Manchus brought the language called "Mandarin" to govern China. Mandarin was not spoken in China until Manchu Qing dynasty. Manchu occupier during Qing imposed this language on Chinese. When Qing conquered China, Chinese couldn't understand Mandarin. Chinese called it "language spoken in the government" The literal meaning of Mandarin is "language spoken in government" Mandarin was language spoken in western Manchuria (Eastern Liao area) Altaic people (Manchus, Mongolian, Koreans) lived there, and they were mixed with some Chinese since Han dynasty. Their language evolved in unique style mixing Altaic and Chinese languages. Eastern Liao was a traditional Altaic countries' area for thousands years. Gojoseon (Korean Altay) (BC 2333-108) Goguryeo (Korean Altay) (BC37 - AD668) Balhae (Korean Altay) (AD698-926) Liao (Kitan Altay) (AD9161125) Jin (Jurchen Altay)(AD 1115-1234) Yuan (Mongol Altay) (AD 12061368) Later Jin (Jurchen Altay)(AD 16161635) Chinese couldn't communicate with those Mandarin speakers. So they had to use writings to communicate. Chinese characters were used internationally in East Asia because they represent meaning instead of sound. People with different languges can communicate with characters representing meaning instead of sound. Still, some Japanese and Korean speakers can communicate with Chinese characters. But they cannot communicate in spoken language. Likewise, Mandarin speakers used Chinese characters to communicate with Chinese. But they couldn't communicate in spoken language. Mandarin speakers in Eastern Liao worked for Manchus to conquer China during Later Jin. Manchu rulers brought East Liao people to govern China, because they were able use Chinese characters like Japanese, and Koreans. Language of East Liao became government's language ruling China. Chinese couldn't understand Mandarin because Mandarin was not spoken in China. So, Manchu Qing empire established orthoepy academies to teach Mandarin to Chinese. It was not easy because Chinese resisted learning the occupier's language, Mandarin. However, Mandarin became the current national language of China. Mandarin is Altairized langauge. Even current Mandarin has weakest tone, most mutli syllable words, verb conjugations more than any other languages in China. Those are characteristics of Altaic language. Chinese distorted history as if Manchus learned Chinese language. The truth is that Manchus never learned any languages spoken in China. Colony people, Chinese were forced to learn Mandarin.
