Madonna shows off David

Madonna has taken David Banda, the little boy she is in the process of adopting, on a trip back to Malawi.The singer's ten-year-old daughter Lourdes accompanied them on the visit to the Home of Hope orphanage where the tot once lived.The 48-year-old superstar said it felt "great" to be back in Malawi but dismissed rumours that she was planning to adopt another child from the country.Waiting paparazzi were treated to a rare glimpse of Madonna with the newest member of her family as she strolled around with the 18-month-old on her hip.Earlier that day Malawian police and local school children tried to protect the star and her entourage from the media scrum by blocking journalists from getting near the group.The Material Girl's latest visit comes six months after the star and her husband Guy Richie signed interim adoption papers for David.
