Under-fire England boss Steve McClaren is calling on his misfiring stars to deliver when they resume their bid to qualify for Euro 2008 in Israel this weekend.McClaren's men know they cannot afford any more slip-ups having fallen three points off the pace in Group E after they followed up their 0-0 draw at home to Macedonia with a 2-0 defeat at leaders Croatia last October. And the former Middlesbrough manager, who is without a number of players, said: "We've got 23 players - more than enough to cover every position. It's a team effort - it's up to everybody now. We've done a lot of talking and now have to deliver on the pitch. We've got eight games to qualify."And McClaren, who is refusing to buckle under the mounting pressure in the wake of England's four-match winless run, added that a good performance is essential from his players in Tel Aviv.He said: "We're here to win a game - but we have come here determined to put on a performance. If we get that, we've got a good chance of winning."There's always pressure for England - every game is a big game. But I've certainly been looking forward to it since the Croatia defeat. These are the games where we need to deliver."Captain John Terry, echoing his manager's comments, believes nothing less than three points in Israel is good enough as they look to crank up the pressure on Group E leaders Croatia.Terry said: "Certainly coming into it there's a lot on this game, everyone knows we need to win this game and nothing else."As a group of players we are wanting to improve on the last performances and get up the table to where we belong. We all know we didn't play well."This is about a group of players taking it on our shoulders to make something happen. We didn't play well as a team or individuals and we realise we need to make something happen now and do something about it."We can't come here and say a draw is a good result. At the moment a draw will not be good enough for us."© Independent Television News Limited 2007. All rights reserved.
