Lunar Eclipse

Weather and clouds permitting, it was possible to see for the first time in six years a total Lunar eclipse. As these time lapsed pictures show, the moon turns from silver to "blood red." The natural phenomenon happens when the Earth passes directly between the Moon and the Sun, leaving the moon bathed in the earth's shadow.
