Let Us Be! (Barack Obama, New Music)

"Let Us Be" is the third song from the soon-to-be-released album, "Seven Songs For America." (This is the "rough cut.") Inspired by Barack Obama and his supporters, the composers, performers and producers strongly believe the momentum that is transforming lives around the world needs an inspirational sound track. "Seven Songs" captures the spirit of America during these history-making times. Co-produced by Jon and Joe Bergevin (best known as Bergevin Brothers Music) and Matt Cameron of Pearl Jam, the album features original songs performed by Seattle's Pastor Pat Wright and her Total Experience Gospel Choir. "Fired Up, Ready to Go" was the first song inspired by Barack Obama's candidacy and was followed by "Rise Up, Daylight Breaks." In response to the tremendous outpouring of support with comments like "This should be the campaign song" and "Where can I buy this amazing music," those involved agreed to expand the project leading to "Seven Songs for America." In honor and recognition of this spirit, all proceeds from "Seven Songs" will go to support Pastor Pat Wright's ministry to rebuild the lives and homes of Katrina victims in Mississippi and Louisiana. Pastor Wright was honored for her work on behalf of Katrina survivors when she was named an ABC 2007 person of the year for her ministry. Beach Saint Productions is pleased to produce this video as a public service. It is a rare opportunity and honor to highlight the illuminating music created, produced and performed by everyday Americans in honor of Barack Obama's amazing and historic campaign.
